Revenue from Operating System Reaches USD30.4 Billion

As the impact of global economic recovery, the income from the operating system (OS) in the world reached USD30.4 billion during the year 2010 yesterday, this means that there is an increase 7.8 percent from 2009. Similarly, according to Gartner, Inc.

"Generally, the client OS and server OS surpass grew 9.3 percent in 2010, while the server OS segment grew 5.7 percent," said Matthew Cheung, principal research analyst at Gartner, as reported by PCR Online, Sunday (5/1/2011).

Among the client OS, Mac OS is the fastest growing subsegment in 2010 as large as a desktop unit shipments Mac / laptop devices is strong. Windows 7 is a super hit,microsoft has come back strong after Vista total failure. I love this OS.
